'I started my Christian journey when I was young. I went to a Roman Catholic School. I attended Church every so often and attended a few Christian groups when I was young. I then found myself being a teenager not wanting to listen to God and losing any connection I had with him. I had a baby at a young age and went through a lot with that. I then I found out that I was being abused emotionally and had a mental breakdown which led me to not speaking to my family for at least three years and started taking drugs. I’m lucky now to have my family back in my life and since then I needed to find something that was going to keep me from feeling depressed so that’s when I had a calling that you need to go back to Church so that’s what I did. I went to Church. I listened to that and now I’m in a Home group that really supports me however I feel now that I have been going to that for awhile God is now asking me to find a new group to go to the has people my age so I can explore the Christian faith with others and also move on from having that mental block when I’m with elderly people at Church I find it difficult. I just want to be with people in my own age so we can keep building on our faith.' - Alex
